What does Core Strengths mean?

This glass globe is the inspiration for the business name of Core Strengths.

The globe was a gift from an agency that has been a monumental influence on my facilitation approach. To me the colourful blown glass at the core of the globe represents the many unique talents of the people who have been part of my life’s journey.

It was from reflecting on the impact that these collective strengths have had in shaping my commitment to personal, team and organizational development that the name was created.

Core Strengths works from the premise that the inherent capacities within us, both as individuals and collectively, are some of the most powerful resources available.

Identifying these strengths and engaging in process learning to develop a deeper understanding of how to best utilize them, will move thought into action. To improve team functioning, we must consistently challenge our thoughts, actions and interactions.
